If you are looking for the perfect way to get started with The Things Network and LoRaWAN, this could be it: The University of Bergen and Media City Bergen will be co-hosting a "Measure Your City" workshop on Wednesday 12 June. The workshop is entirely free, and you will be able to build and take home your very own The Things Network-compatible weather station.

This workshop is one of many exciting sessions that's part of Future Week, Media City Bergen's brand new technology conference that's open to everyone – and free. In addition to the "Measure Your City" event, the project founders from the Netherlands and Scott Bremer from UiB will do a public presentation about their future goals and how the project came about. There will also be a joint panel debate with the people from "Measure Your City" and representatives from Yr / NRK, where the focus will be on the crowd's' role in future weather forecasting.

If this sounds interesting, be sure to sign up today. Tickets are free but very limited:

Please feel free to invite friends, family, and colleagues who might be interested, too.

If you want to learn more about Future Week, check out the official program below. More sessions are added weekly, so be sure to check back often.

Hope to see you in Media City Bergen the second week in June, either on the workshop or during one of the many presentations.

Kind regards,
