Today we have test real range for a LoRa Network in Brescia.
We have put our gateway on a pole at 6 meters height, we have transmitted with your node without difficulty in an area about 1-2 Km around the gateway at sea level altitude, then we ahve gone to Castello di Brescia (altitude about 200 mt) and we have transmitted successful for 8 Km.
Using 2 simple antennas, the result is very impressive.
Another step for a complete coverage of Brescia city has done. Now we have to find the best location (for altitude and position) for our fixed installation of our gateway.
