## About

To spur innovation and aid our region in IoT adoption our community is taking matters into our own hands.
We the people are creating Open Civic IoT Infrastructure. As one of the original significant backers of The Things Network, we will spread their vision and usher an era of open development.

We don't have to wait for the big Telecommunications Giants anymore. We don't have to be victim to commercial interests and greed. No Proprietary Solutions Please! Say No to Silos!
Here is The Things Network.
Try it, and share in a wealth of community development. The era of Civic-Tech is here, give it a go. You never know, the next killer app or device could be yours.
The Things Network is a LoRaWAN certified wide area network, independent of Telco's. Owned and operated by citizens. Enabling the connection of Low Powered devices to connect over great distances, and to roam amongst the rest of the community infrastructure.
It's free, It's awesome.
A gift from Visionaries in Amsterdam.
