## About

We are a Team of enthusiasts who want to unleash the potential of Calabria and Cilento through an open, free and community-owned IoT data network.

Goals

1. Create a**free** LoraWAN network in Calabria and Cilento, starting from the historical centers.
2. **Incite and support**new business, increase presence, create opportunities, encourage collaboration and assist the local companies in the IoT investments.
3. Convince all citizens of the utility of an **open** network, from farmers to traders, **nobody excluded**.
4. Allow **hackers, makers and people** to connect and experiment their device, single-board computers and sensors.
5. Give to **rural areas connectivity** in order to make IoT things useful even in off grid scenarios.

We have already activated our first Gateway in Fagnano Castello and we want to activate many others as soon as possible.
