We quickly returned our test gateway back to base to check on it and are happy to say everything was fine - no water / moisture ingress, etc. A quick upgrade was performed, replacing its intial bracket with one of our new laser cut stainless steel wallmounts and it was sent back out on its merry way.
The other gateways are ready to go. The last year has taught us a lot of lessons and we have iterated on our orginal design in order to get things 'just right' - mostly improving its status indication on the device itself, increasing connectivity options and remote monitoring of a gateway's health.
We are now entering the most important and exciting phase of this project, locating homes for these gateways and deploying them out in the field.
