We’re thrilled to announce the official launch of The Things Network Chișinău — Moldova’s first community dedicated to building a nationwide LoRaWAN network! 🇲🇩

This initiative, led by PenEngineering, brings together innovators, engineers, and organizations passionate about IoT and open-source collaboration. Our goal is to make IoT connectivity available to everyone — from students experimenting with sensors to companies building large-scale smart solutions.

🌐 What We’re Building

A community-powered LoRaWAN infrastructure across Chișinău and beyond

Collaboration between local developers, researchers, and institutions

Integration with open-source platforms like AkiraOS
for seamless IoT development

💡 Why It Matters

By joining The Things Network, Moldova becomes part of a global movement enabling people to build IoT solutions without relying on commercial networks or closed systems. Together, we can foster innovation in agriculture, sustainability, energy efficiency, and more.

🤝 Get Involved

We’re calling on all makers, developers, and technology enthusiasts to help us grow this network.
Whether you want to host a gateway, build a sensor node, or collaborate on an IoT project — you’re welcome in our community.

Follow our updates, share your ideas, and let’s connect Moldova to the world — one LoRa packet at a time. 🌍
