Finally, our new TTN gateway in Hamburg-Wilhelsmburg is online. We used the opportunity and deployed it on a rooftop (height around 40m) where Freifunk Hamburg already has hardware and infrastructure (lightning protection, cables, pole, ...) for long-range wireless links.
It is based on a Raspberry Pi, the Link Labs RPi shield (both in an outdoor casing) and the Aurel groundplane antenna.
