## About

Welcome to The Things Network in Lancashire. We are a community group of the The Things Network, a global crowdsourced, free, fully distributed Internet of Things platform as an alternative to mobile data networks.

The Things Network has over 60,000 members in over 137 countries worldwide. Here more about our movement from the global TTN founders Wienke and Johan:-

Our local group hopes to bring more accessibility to the Internet of Things around the region of Lancashire, enabling use cases from pollution monitoring to smart mouse traps ! We are particularly interested in rural and hard to reach areas who are currently in tech "not spots".

**Come join TTN Lancashire on Slack for some discussion - join our community or drop us an email to ttn@milliamp.co.uk and we will add you on to the team !!!!!**

If you are an experienced tech developer or just a member of the public interested in what can be done when people work together, please find out more and get in touch - either via our forum [here](https://www.thethingsnetwork.org/forum/t/lancashire) or via email ttn@milliamp.co.uk.

**You are the network ! Let's build this together !**
