The DIY gateway based on the Raspberry Pi and the RAK Wireless RAK833 LoRa concentrator card has now been put into an enclosure based on an aluminium extrusion from Lincoln Binns. The end panels were designed in Inkscape and lasercut/engraved to finish them off.

A microUSB panel mount socket was added to bring the power socket on the Raspberry Pi out to the front panel. The rear panel has the sockets for the LoRa and GPS antennas.

The gateway is currently being powered through a POE adaptor so that it only needs a single cable for both power and network connectivity. Further developments include a web based status page.
