We are present in some outdoor events meanwhile this pandemic situation does not end, making our best efforts in spreading the voice of this technology and showing its real and potential applications and benefits. This time, we will take part in an event mainly organised by our partner A Industriosa.

The event will take part on Saturday, 7th August 2021 (postponed to 21st August 2021 due to weather-related reasons, and hoping that pandemic situation will be milder at that time), from 11h00 AM to 6h00 PM in Souto da Presa, Ponteareas, PO, ES (coordinates: 42°10'24.3"N, 8°32'47.5"W), 25 km away from Vigo downtown, in a lovely rural outdoor environment, with limited amount of attendees, and following all safety recommendations related to COVID-19 pandemics (use of mask, 2 m safety distance, etc.).

It will consist of a hackathon, in which we will try to build a LoRa network around a rural watermill. Firstly, members from TTN Vigo will briefly introduce the attendees to LoRa technology and LoRaWAN networks. Then, the attendees will apply the knowledge into building an in-place LoRa network, so to provide the watermill and its surrounding environment with a variety of proof-of-concept services running over a LoRaWAN network.
