On 14 February a fellow TTN enthusiast from Switzerland went out driving through the Swiss-French-German Alps with his LoRa node. His goal: setting the world record for the longest LoRa, LoRaWAN and TTN connection.

His results are summarised in a video on YouTube. If you bear through the first few minutes of the video it starts getting interesting.

The results can also be viewed at http://ttnmapper.org/special.php?node=sensorsiot_lora_shield&date=2017-02-14&gateways=on

When watching the video, note how often he refers to South Africa ;)
And did you see Table Mountain?

I think it is time we try and break his record!
