We're extremely happy to announce something that's been in the making for quite a while:

Early next year, the first **Make Zurich** hackathon ever will take place! The idea is to bring together the city administration and the hacker/maker community to explore new ways of solving the problems of our city with the help of open networks and civic tech.

We're working together with [Open Data Zurich](https://www.stadt-zuerich.ch/opendata) and [EWZ](https://www.ewz.ch/) to make this possible.

So, save the dates:
- Kick-off: 27th January 2017
- Open lab week: 28th January - 2nd February 2017
- Hackathon: 3rd-4th February 2017
