Louisa Teichmann (1995) is a Rotterdam based media artist working with themes around gaming and the effect of new technologies on the players’ perception of reality. By analysing gameplay methods and implementing them into real-life settings, she is creating scenarios in which the viewer turns into the protagonist of an interactive fictional narrative. Louisa has recently obtained her Master’s Degree in Experimental Publishing from Piet Zwart Institute. Her games have been exhibited around the Netherlands and Belgium, in art festivals such as TEC ART, GOGBOT, The Overkill Festival, Media Art Friesland and her work has been featured in Metropolis Magazine.
