Lead Developer - KiCad

Wayne Stambaugh is currently the lead developer for the KiCad project. He joined the project in 2006 because I wasn’t happy with the design software he was using and want to contribute to open source software. He became the project lead developer in 2012. The KiCad project aims to provide an open source best of breed electronics design application (EDA) that respects users freedoms be used for open or proprietary hardware designs. He has been employed as an Electronic Engineer for over 32 years and has embedded, signal conditioning, analog, and sensor design experience over a wide range of technologies. He decades of experience in C/C++, Python, and assembly programming at both the embedded and application level.
