Growing up in an era of custom recorded music cassettes and CD´s, one could not have imagined the impact of technology, devaluating my whole music collection. Sure, I had a record player, a tape recorder and actually was at Philips Natlab when they invented the CD player, and within only two decades my own kids do not use any of this, as my $ 100K+ music collection is available to them for $10 per month. Technology reshapes industries, and those who recognize the opportunity, like The Things Network and its supporters, can truly benefit. In this keynote I will explain how, to date, 25 million Virtual Antennas are changing the Edge in IoT, alike what streaming has done to the music industry.
