LoRaWAN in combination with a full stack PyMesh

Workshops Area 2

01/31/2020 2:30pm

You can now optimise and decentralise your IoT deployments. Get to grips with how to use mesh on LoRa networks. The Pycom Team will show you how to set up your Pymesh using their Pybytes device management platform, some MicroPython Programmable LoPy4s as well as the new €49-Pygate 8-Channel LoRa Gateway.
Kits will be available at the workshop for you to try this out yourself.

What are my takeaways from this workshop?

Pycom will teach you how to set up and use the Pymesh to help you optimise and decentralise all or parts of your LoRa networks, create private meshed networks and use backhaul through WiFi, LoRa, or Cellular networks (NB-IoT or Cat-M1).

How can I prepare for this workshop?

  • Basic understanding of LPWAN networks
  • Basic understanding of IoT
  • Basic understanding of Python (MicroPython)
