In this workshop, ST’s experts will provide an overview and a practical presentation of the STM32WL ecosystem and show you how to perform RF functional tests for (pre)certification.

Based on a software example taken from the STM32CubeWL software package (LoRaWAN_AT_Slave) acting as LoRaWAN modem, we will explain how to use a subset of the relevant AT-commands for RF tests. The RF functional tests will be analyzed using the

STM32CubeMonitor software for real-time variable monitoring, which is based on the widely-known Node-RED application (fast application development thanks to graphical approach of programming). The dedicated Node-RED flows provided within the STM32CubeWL software package repository (JSON file) will be used to set up the RF functional tests of the STM32WL SoC, but any software terminal can be used with LoRaWAN_AT_Slave and AT-commands to enable the test mode of the NUCLEO-WL55JC, the STM32WL-based target board, for (pre)certification.
