We are saving the lives of wild elephants using edge machine learning and Digital Twin concept, which blends and correlates real-time streaming IoT data together with other inputs. It then applies machine learning, AI, and advanced modeling techniques to create a dynamic virtual model. This includes, real time tracking and predicting their next movement and geolocation (using behavior informations such as how they act when they feel safe, angry, protective, etc) which make our solution usable offline.
Tens of thousands of elephants are killed every year for their tusks (WWF). The decline in tourism revenue due to COVID-19 is leaving African wildlife vulnerable to poaching and the number of killed elephants is considerably increased.
