New LoRa® 2.4GHz wireless RF Technology will have a disruptive impact on many IoT scenarios, enabling long-range communication with higher data rate communication for several kind of wireless applications. Exploiting LoRa® modulation intrinsic properties, LoRa® 2.4GHz provides long range connectivity and high-interference immunity, outperforming any other 2.4 GHz technology in terms of communication range. 2.4GHz is a global ISM band and provides two big advantages with respect to the common 868EU and 915US: this band is adopted globally and products operating in this band can be easily deployed all over the world, without any duty cycle limitations.
A complete set of elements to build the new LoRa® 2.4GHz network is now available: new gateways and sensors are ready to satisfy customer and market needs.
Industrial and urban use cases will exploit these new features and will open new IoT opportunities.
