The Things Network has been the first to propose a crowdsourced approach to deploy a global IoT network, recently followed by Helium and Amazon Sidewalk. Even if they have the same objective of deploying a global network for the IoT, each deploys different means and targets different contributors. It is these different strategies with their strengths and weaknesses that we are going to look at, while projecting the network that each of them can beget.
