Dear experts here,
please apologize that, as a rookie, I am beginning with a rather complicated question.
We are an existing network of the things, and have begun at the very early years of that millennium building a network of around 600 sound pressure level meters. Yes, since we began early, we have been using technology that is today considered ridiculous, we are transmitting data over FTP from the stations to the mainframe (yes, mainframe!) that handles all of the data. (one 16 bit word per second for each one of the 600 stations and that since more than 15 years).
OK, we want to modernize, but can't migrate the existing stations, most of them being communities without technology sawwy users.
The TTN appears to go be very close to our aims, but we will need to run the two realms in parallel for a couple of years.
So I would like to grab your experience. Has TTN got some kind of API to feed data into TTN from unconventional sources?
I would be glad to hear from you and would be really delighted if you could provide some hints to smoothen a bit what will surely be a steep learning curve.
Regards and thank you for your assistance
