When registering a new application, you are given a choice of handler, with the default at the top of the list being ttn-handler-eu. Does the choice of handler affect the latency between uplinks and their corresponding downlinks, or just the latency between the handler and anything subscribed to its MQTT topics? For instance, if my gateways are forwarding to a particular router, should I prefer any particular handler in order to minimize latency induced join / downlink failures?
Also, if I choose a handler that doesn't have a ttn-handler- prefix (such as meshed-handler or switch-handler), will the application-data widgets in console.thethingsnetwork.org still display my data? Or is there some other reason they are named differently? I'd find out by experimentation, but the console warns that changing handlers will delete all my end-nodes.
