# First uplink fine, second fails with "Drop uplink message - Device not found"

You’ll need [to save much more](https://www.thethingsnetwork.org/forum/t/how-to-persist-lmic-otaa-parameters-with-an-esp32/35032/12). Your raw payload [shows](http://runkit.io/avbentem/lorawan-packet-decoder/branches/master?data=QEyAgQAAAAAKaat2QnElaPq6C7R63kB7p1YmpXlRSQ==) the uplink is using frame counter 0, for its 2nd uplink. That smells? Of course, if that’s causing this then the error message is not quite helpful…
