# How to get the dev\_eui in the payload to send to Mqtt?

Hi everyone,

I see in this post that we can have the dev\_id and app\_id in the payload [Best practices when sending GPS location data [HowTo]](https://www.thethingsnetwork.org/forum/t/best-practices-when-sending-gps-location-data-howto/1242/14) but nothing about the dev\_eui or app\_eui.

Is it not possible to have this information ?

The DevEUI [is available in `hardware_serial`](https://www.thethingsnetwork.org/docs/applications/mqtt/api.html). The AppEUI is not available, I think.
