We have recently received 3 LRWCCx MPCIE concentrators from our partner nfuse. We chose this type of concentrator because we wanted to build at least a gateway based on Raspberry Pi Zero W, and we can finally say we have succeeded.

If you would like to build your raspberry zero based gateway, keep these things in mind:

  1. There is a good guide that you can find here, although it 's for a gateway based on Orange Pi, with the right changes everything runs smoothly, but you will need to have some familiarity with the OS you are using. We have used Raspbian.

  2. Use a good power supply (we will never tire of repeating it), without the latter you may run into malfunctions and don't understand why everything isn't going as you expected.

  3. Energy saving. Yes, it's a key point for me and the whole Community of Calabria e Cilento. What is the advantage of using LoRa low power sensors if your gateway uses 1.21 jigowatts? There are many ways to do this, such as disabling LEDs or disabling circuitry that doesn't serve the final purpose.

So we can say with pleasure that we have managed to reach the goal thanks to a good guide, to an excellent concentrator of our partner and to the skills of our Team.
