Because of the reboot problems I left my ttn gateway as it originally was and had automatic updates disabled because it was running stable. Now I went to the console/settings of my ttn gateway and checked automatic updates. The explanation says:
if enabled the gateway will periodically check if updates are available and perform them.
However nothing ever happens to the gateway, obviously it does not update.
Also on the gateway info in console I cannot see any info about the version of the software it is running.
Looks pretty strange to me. Is the description in the console of this feature in error/not true and I have to manually restart the gateway by powering down and then restart? If true I suggest, that the console explanation is corrected…
