I am happy to share with you that I have revived a project that was stuck for years using SlimLora. It uses multiple LoRa Radio nodes with an RFM95 and an ATMega328p on board. These ware cheap boards from China.
With a button and a buzzer, I send messages that are received by a Node-RED instance, which responds on a downlink.
Great fun!
Thanks for the work, and I will follow and contribute when possible.
Thanks for the message. I think @novag deserves more credits. I still learn from SlimLoRa and I am still discovering bugs. I have some more ideas to implement. But I am not sure I will do them.
I am using SlimLoRa daily on 2 devices. In future probably 10.
@pe1mew and now SlimLoRa-0.11.0 runs with 32bit counters. If you transmit every 5β the rollover would be after 40.000 years, with 16bit counters rollover after 6 months.
I had MIC mismatch after the rollover, so I upgraded to 32bit counters.
Attention: you canβt just upgrade, use the eeprom utility to set the current counter according to LNS, or rejoin.
