It is more a band aid than anything else – I would not necessarily recommend the MKRWAN 1300 in its current state for Ultra Low Power operation, but if you already have one, this will indeed help you to achieve ULP

Looks like a reasonable prospect for people building the kind of stuff we build using uPython and I feel there will be more Python based projects in time. From a personal standpoint and not having any formal training in programming it (uPython) feels easier though I have had to go back to the very beginning.
