Here my very BAD experience in recent orders from PCBs.io
For a past order with an amount of $16.66 I should pay CHF 35 for customs. I refused this package, but I’m sure this will not be the end of the story.
An other package delivered today is slipped through the customs and so I could show you what’s
W R O N G with them
That order has a total amount of $24.01 from 3 x 4 boards (they made 3 x 5) They declared 10 x $1.44 for a total of $144.00 This is absolutely incorrect and could cost you a lot of money
as you read in other threads they did not answer on any mails
and a credit for something that could happen again and again and I had to pay first of all - no thanks
I’ll try to get the gerber from people I’m interested in their work and let it produce from other companies
I recently received 5 Mini-Lora v1.1a boards, Discription is 5 items valued at$2.13 each, so a total of $10,65. Then there is a second line specifying it as 5 pieces with a total value of $53,25. ( 5*10,65)
Indeed this could cost you a lot of extra taxes. Apparently someone with discalculia is making these postal_service/customs shippin forms.

I could reach Makerbright and they told me that USPS changed their handling.
So, if you had to pay custom get in contact with Leo (Leo.Wolfe at makerbright.com) with
pictures of the full label, the custom bill and your order snipped.
They will take care of it.
[EDIT: changed e-mail address to make SPAM harvesting a tad more difficult]
Import PCB to my country is exempted from duty TAX. But, DH/ sometimes charged me VAT. Ironically, VAT should be changed from seller to buyer. I don’t know why DH/ charge me VAT? So, I complained to manufacturer and suggested them to provide more alternative shippers. The manufacture just did the opposite, they got rid of others and left only DH/.
