Who is hiring?

#1

Since the start of this forum and more and more people working on LoRaWAN professionally, we are seeing increasing demand for a way to link companies to people that aspire a job related to LoRaWAN.

Therefore, inspired by Hacker News’ monthly “Who is hiring?” post, we now introduce a new monthly topic where employers can post their jobs.

Rules:

  • only post jobs, one job per post; no questions or discussions here, please contact the company directly
  • only post when you are personally part of the company and state your position; recruiting firms and job boards are not allowed here
  • only post jobs that are directly related to LoRaWAN, and include explanation
  • put basic info on the first line: company name, role, salary indication (+ possibility for equity), location (+ possibility for remote work), website
  • introduce the company
  • describe the role: e.g. primary activity, required skills and experience
  • how to contact the company
  • you can repost jobs from a previous month if the position has not been filled yet
  • this is the only place on this forum where you can post jobs

About TWG
Here at TWTG we specialise in smart embedded electronics. We’re tireless tinkerers, motivated by challenge, curiosity, and changing the status quo. We’re the kind of people that used to be called ‘inventors’.
Be ready to enroll in a team (25 engineers) that consists of embedded engineers, industrial designers and software developers. Together, we turn the coolest projects into reality for clients such as PostNL T-mobile or ERIKS. But you will also work on the technology behind The Things Network and Tryst Energy, our energy harvesting spin off.
Next to that, we pay special attention in maintaining our culture of learning new stuff everyday, being and staying ahead of the curve and challenging each other in a friendly atmosphere and in our kick-ass company events.

About you, the Embedded Hardware Engineer.
You will create the design of the hardware circuits in our products. You iterate your design upon sketches and brainstorming with your team. You will build a prototype in no-time (rapid prototyping), troubleshoot that first board design and design boards ready for small scale production. Finally, you are deeply invested in optimizing the design, tweaking the analog circuit and creating a final product.

▪	Graduated in a related field (HBO / WO);
▪	3+ years of experience in the engineering-field;
▪	Knows embedded hardware, but you’re also familiar with the embedded software;
▪	Loves to design and analyse analog circuitry and subsystems;
▪	Create and execute test plans to ensure circuit & system robustness;
▪	Can autonomously perform circuit design including: requirements interpretation, schema design, debugging and integration;
▪	Iterative design is something that’s made for you;
▪	Knows your way around Altium;

Hello UK Members !

Urgent help for an ongoing project for last two weeks of July.

We’re looking for UK based contractors who can travel to sites to install (simple) sensors, gateways, etc. Most are high street locations but the ideal candidate should have his/her car and be able to drive.

You should be able to do basic things on your own like strip wires, attach ferrules, correctly attach sensors to screw terminals, install and care for 18650 batteries and check on TTN console that the device is operating correctly.

Basic notions of RF/LoRa are a big plus but usually we’ll ship the hardware and give you all the training necessary over videoconference - we’re always available to help you.

Given the work involves direct contact with end clients a tidy, professional appearance is advised.

We believe in paying very fairly for these jobs and include a mileage supplement - more details available upon contact. It’s also a good experience to get into the booming IoT business, get lots of experience with TTN, understand what IoT clients want etc. All locations are connected to TTN.

Metavurt has been a believer in TTN and LPWAN in general since the start and and is backed by a solid portfolio of very successful clients in the UK and abroad.

If you’re around these areas or within your reach please get in touch by email jobs@metavurt.net or direct message here.
