We are on a mission to help build a global open crowdsourced Internet of Things data network

We at Fontys GreenTechLab in Venlo have started The Things Network community Venlo to develop open Internet of Things data connectivity into innovative and valuable applications for a community of both citizens and local companies around the Venlo area. Venlo is a region that generates a tremendous amount of innovations round the fields of agro and mechatronics. Out of the box thinking engineers and students help local industry to come up with no-nonsense, working solutions for technical challenges industry faces. They develop applications that create urban valua for the region. Our goal is to expand The Things Network by realising coverage in Venlo and region to boost innovation. GreenTechLab stimulates the expansion of the Internet of Things and welcomes others to join in order to generate a world wide network. Parties that join support each other on a non-profit basis in creating added value for the local community in the widest sense
