I am trying to build Raspberry Pi Zero based 8 Channel Gateway. For this I want LoRa Concentrator module with form factor close to Pi Zero.
Any suggestion for on Concentrator module Pi Zero form factor ?
I’m not aware of any choices that size other than the little Heltec module sometimes pictured stacked on a pi zero.
Electrically most SPI-based concentrators should work, but they tend to be mPCIE form factor or larger.
To be honest, I don’t recommend using a pi zero for a gateway. First, it’s a pi, bringing the SD card reliance. Next, it is so constrained with no good network interface. Production-grade systems tend to be based on much smaller embedded linux builds either booting from a small SPI-flash, or an eMMC chip.
