Connecting my own MQTT broker to TTN

I have my nodes registered and data being delivered to TTN. I have linked Node Red via MQTT and can get my data there.

What I would like to do is use the data in multiple locations, rather than create multiple connections to TTN via MQTT I hoped to create 1 link from TTN to my own mosquito broker, then link out from that point but I cannot get this to work, no data is being logged in mosquito.

What is the ‘correct’ way to set this up, and should I be able to use my own broker as a kind of buffer between my apps and TTN?

I don’t have a solution for you but this is exactly what would be needed to access TTN via MQTT from HomeAssistant.
HomeAssistant only supports a single MQTT broker, which is normally your local MQTT broker/server (not TTN).

You know that is called “bridging”?

I did not know that, thank you, reading up on it now.

Would this be the ‘recommended’ setup, rather than making multiple connections to the same topic on TTN? By setting this up I can offload some of the requests to my own broker rather than creating multiple connections to TTN.

Setup and working in “bridging” mode, many thanks
