I get the following error while trying to re-use an archived application id:
Could not add application
An app with the application id ā¦ already exists
this message tells me it still exists 
itās 'archivedā¦ so you canāt use the same application name I think
- never tried this myself

Hello, I deleted my application and my station id moved to archive. How i can delete aplication id from archive for use on another login?
I can confirm (and everyone can with a simple test) that TTN console does not allow to reuse an Application-ID
The links/buttons clearly say āArchive application xxxxxā ā¦ not āDeleteā
From a (strict) security point of view it makes perfect sense to not be able to re-use an Application ID

Yes we first did that simple test off courseā¦ tnx for confirming again.
Why ? ā¦ if an application is permanent deleted I donāt see a problem using the same application name again for a new applicationā¦ off course a different Application EUI is generated.
Has something changed? I donāt see any options to delete or even archive an application, which is strange because application deletion is supposedly an enabled setting for me as a collaboratorā¦

no I donāt think So
archiving IS deleting but apparently with the restriction that the applicationname canāt be used again,
maybe this will change in V3 ?
