Hello:

select application (remove devices)
settings
archive
there is no ‘delete’ button
Thank you.
hello, if i delete application this way, can i restore this on anover login?
no it’s gone forever as far as I know
I get the following error while trying to re-use an archived application id:
Could not add application
An app with the application id … already exists
this message tells me it still exists
it’s 'archived… so you can’t use the same application name I think

ttnctl cant find my application and i cant delete him
Hello, I deleted my application and my station id moved to archive. How i can delete aplication id from archive for use on another login?
I can confirm (and everyone can with a simple test) that TTN console does not allow to reuse an Application-ID
The links/buttons clearly say “Archive application xxxxx” … not ‘Delete’
From a (strict) security point of view it makes perfect sense to not be able to re-use an Application ID
Yes we first did that simple test off course… tnx for confirming again.
Why ? … if an application is permanent deleted I don’t see a problem using the same application name again for a new application… off course a different Application EUI is generated.
Has something changed? I don’t see any options to delete or even archive an application, which is strange because application deletion is supposedly an enabled setting for me as a collaborator…
So, let’s revisit the question: how do you delete an application?
no I don’t think So
archiving IS deleting but apparently with the restriction that the applicationname can’t be used again,
maybe this will change in V3 ?
Thank you so much for the screenshot - the red font was hiding in plain view!
