How does TTIG select from available WiFi networks?

Hi,

We configure the TTIGs for multiple WiFi networks so we can test it in the lab and then deploy w/o having to change the network again. Works great but… What if we are in an environment where both SSIDs are available but one isn’t connected to the internet? Is the TTIG smart enough to select the correct network? Or for that matter, fail over to the other network when it loses connection with the backend? Just curious.

I realized I could fairly easy test this myself… so… when one of the WiFi networks disappears the device does switch over the other one -yay!- When the backend connection is lost though the device does not switch over to the other network.
