I´ve been looking for some ideas on how to make sure the node is connected to a string.
After issuing the AT+JOIN command, there is a return string, indicating failure or connection ok.
There is also a small time interval between two sentences.
I want to check, before trying to send a message, if the node is connected. Of course, if I try to send a message and it is not connected, I also get an error message.
What would be the best way to detect and make sure that the node is connected? Is it by issuing several “JOIN” commands, and check the reply, or try to send a message, check the reply, send JOIN, wait, try to send the message again until it is connected?
I´m using the RisingHF module model RHF76-052A, in OTAA mode.
