I’ve also been able to move forward by modifying the template offline and uploading again. However, I am running into the following errors when completing the CloudFormation step
2020-11-22 01:23:13 UTC+0000 AWSEBAutoScalingGroup CREATE_FAILED The specified instance type can only be used in a VPC. A subnet ID or network interface ID is required to carry out the request. Launching EC2 instance failed.
I recreated a new EC2 instance and tried again, just incase my existing instance was limiting in some way, but the same errors with the new instance
