LR-FHSS Long Range

Due to frequency hopping LR-FHSS can support a large no of devices, but how LR-FHSS is supporting long-range or good sensitivity. What is the receiver sensitivity required for LR-FHSS?

Its not clear what your question is actually about, is this question related to TTN\LoRaWAN ?

Can you provide more details of what you were interested in ?

The question is about new technology named as Long Range Frequency hopped spread spectrum (LR-FHSS), and I am interested in knowing how it differs from LoRa CSS modulation in terms of Range, Receiver Sensitivity.

Which devices, that you can buy, are operational in this mode ?

The SX16x familly and the LR1110 support it, but Iā€™m unsure about drivers/software availability ā€¦

About the technical aspect, have a look at https://arxiv.org/pdf/2010.00491.pdf . But basically it reaches high sensitivity by using very narrow-band (500Hz) for data-rate even lower than LoRa, the main drawback being that this becomes a pure uplink communication (which is perfectly fine for a lot of use case).

Clams, if it uses narrow band, then how will it be robust to interference?

If there were drivers and software avaialble, for the SX16x familly, then it would be easy to do a compare and contrast, both in terms of range and resistance to noise\interferance.

So where are the drivers\software ?

Through Frequency hopping

Okay clam, and how LR-FHSS is giving long range?
