LR-FHSS RP2-1.0.2 LoRaWAN

The new regional parameters RP2-1.0.2 introduces LR-FHSS.

“Long Range-Frequency Hopping Spread Spectrum (LR-FHSS) data rates have been introduced to the EU868, US915 and AU915 regions. LR-FHSS is a fast frequency hopping spread spectrum modulation with bit rates ranging from 162bits/s to 7.8bits/s”

I’ve read section 4.3 of https://lora-alliance.org/resource-hub/rp2-102-lorawan-regional-parameters

But not being the brightest of guys I’m still none the wiser. But superficial it looks like lower coding rate some smarts to do with headers.

Any thoughts where this new update makes sense in terms of use case?

Think this is what I was after & hope there is a session and TTN conf on LR-FHSS
