Mac reset: what it is?

Hello

I don’ get this statement.

NOTE
For ABP devices, mac-settings.factory-preset-frequencies should be specified on device create or the settings will only take effect after MAC reset.
https://www.thethingsindustries.com/docs/devices/mac-settings/

“Mac Reset” on the device or on the TTN. If on TNN how? CLI does not have a mac reset command.

ttn-lw-cli device update --help | grep reset
      --mac-settings.factory-preset-frequencies uints
      --mac-settings.resets-f-cnt
      --resets-join-nonces

Unfortunately, the command is not working seems non-existent.

Please see my answer in the other thread or otherwise file an issue if something is broken.

@roman Before i file an issue, can you please provide the syntax for the ttn-lw-cli end-devices reset command wehere is reset device-x on application-y? That would be very helpful. Unfortionately the documentation on ttn-lw-cli seems non-existent or at least very poor.

ttn-lw-cli end-devices reset application-y device-x

Please also see ttn-lw-cli end-devices reset --help
