Lifting the metal shield thats there for screening purposes wont tell you much you will just see lots of small components with no labels on them.
Its not difficult to work out the design frequency of the module, you just need a simple program to make the LoRa device produce a carrier, sweep the frequency, and observe the output on a cheap SDR or Spectrum analyser. When the output peaks you have found the centre frequency on the bandpass filter on the LoRa devices antenna output.
