Hello everyone. I’m new to the community/LoRa and I’m researching about starting an IoT business in Canada.
My question is around regulatory certification in Canada (IC Canada). After browsing for gateways and sensors, I’ve noticed there are not that many options for gateways/sensors carrying the “IC Canada” certification. Is this something I have to worry about or should I only make sure I’m choosing the right frequency for my region (915)? Any other pieces of advice are welcomed. Thank you!
TEKTELIC is a Canadian outfit so it can be done. Prehaps its the radio device that is certified though and not the complete product. It might be tucked away in the data sheet of RF module like in the case of microchip’s RN2903.
