Yes there are Gateways public.
Why aren’t there TNN nodes public ?

To assign a unique “profile” to a node DevEUI.
Share data in a social media like organisation.
Add as a friend, follow, like, rank it etc,.

Collect data from nodes globally on TTN.

Speaking nodes each other : )

The number of messages you can send to a node is limited to 10 per day.
