The Things Conference 2020 - Amsterdam

ttn2020-1
ttn2020-2

Thinking about attending, but can’t seem to find a list of the workshops being offered in 2020. Can someone share a pointer?

Hi All, is there already an agenda for The Things Conference 2020 available?
Martin

Keep look to the side : https://www.thethingsnetwork.org/conference/
There you can see the speakers list and the content off the 2020 what you can expect. A complete time table Id did not see yet.
But I will be there (all most home town)

Yes, please more detail on keynotes, business fair, workshops, premium technical sessions, networking activities, VIP events. Each ticket gets you more access but only some keynotes and two workshops are listed as of now.

As I understand it, the schedules for talks and workshops haven’t been finalised yet, but as a sponsor we’ve seen a draft of it, so I reckon that means it’s not too far from being published. There are a few still marked as TBC, so I guess they want to get it all firmed up first.

The draft workshop line up looks particularly good to me. There are a few I’d like to go to but I’ll be manning the shop the whole time!

The (draft) program for both keynotes and workshops has been added as a download to https://www.thethingsnetwork.org/conference/, referring to https://ttn.fyi/program.

And from Slack:

@laurens 6:58 PM

Workshop registration will open next week. You can already search for the workshops you want to attend:

Will we see key presentations live streamed again for those of us remote or unable to attend.? Or will we have wait for the selection to be posted later…

Thank you, very helpful in choosing what ticket I want

I will not have the opportunity to go to the conference. Will there be conference recordings?

Yes, very much so. Flag me down if you see me

Last year all Sessions off the main stage where recorded and later available on the internet. So be patient and looking forward to that. (last after few weeks)

I got some discount codes for active community members available.

Please send me a PM for more information and add in your message the community you’re part of, and/or how you contribute to The Things Network.

Will there be a dedicated ferry connection again? The regular ferry pier is a 15 min walk away from the Kromhouthal (which might also be fine if the weather is appropriate :grinning:).

Below is some useful information about Amsterdam’s public ferry and the metro:

Ferry line 902 IJplein

A slightly faster alternative with shorter walk is to take the metro:

Metro line 52 from Central Station to Noorderpark

  • Timetable
  • Metro travel time 3 min.
  • Walk to venue 850 m, 11 min. see route on map
  • Need to buy ticket (2x one-way ticket €1.26)

Unless there is a direct ferry, I will take the metro.

FYI: I have added a list with useful links to the topic start.
