TTN Gateway change wifi settings

(Six59) #1

I have changed my wifi password. How to change the wifi password setting in the TTN gateway? Or do i have to delete the gateway and install it again?

If you can temporarily use an ethernet cable: just go to http://things-gateway.local from the same network and change the WiFi settings.

If not: if it fails to connect it might actually be in Access Point mode now (check the LEDs), so then you can repeat the installation process (just select an existing gateway in the first step; don’t delete it from TTN Console).

I am sorry I don’t get what you mean with this procedure.
Thank you for your support.

If the 3rd LED is blinking slowly 2nd LED is flashing, or the 3rd LED is blinking slowly, then it’s actually in configuration mode:

Next:

In the first step on https://ttn.fyi/activate select the existing gateway using the link “Select it here”:

The second LED flashes slower then shown on the activation web, whne plugged via cable, without cable (in wifi mode) 4 LED’s light but no ome flashes. Shall I reset the gateway?

I’ve no idea what you’re trying to say here, but 4 LEDs imply it’s in operational mode. Just go to http://things-gateway.local/ from the same network then.

That’s all I know.

sorry, I must have deleted some of the words I wrote. My apologies. It is fine now, I found out what I have to do to reconfigure the wifi settings. Thank you for your inputs.
