I have been building a Class A node, for mainly my own entertainment and learning experience of building for LoRa. I’m also challenging myself to build something that is resistant to a fairly inhospitable environment. As the sea is very close by me, I figured its a good option.
Im very close to it being completely weatherproof for testing outdoors.
Im blogging on my site with my build if it is of interest. I haven’t yet released the code or the designs, but will very soon. I could imagine that it has uses other than floating in water… my theory being if it could survive bobbing around in water it should be sufficient to be deployed in other outdoor scenarios.
