Removing delete privileges from myself

So, I’m not sure if this is a bug or a feature request. Either way, it’s working a bit strangely.

I want to be able to remove the “delete” permission from myself in an application. Here’s what I do:

  1. I open my application
  2. I go to the Settings tab, and then to Collaborators
  3. I click “edit” on myself
  4. I remove the “delete” permission and click save.

I then click back on the “Overview” tab, and it seems to have worked! I can see myself in the list with only the 3 other permissions. However, as soon as I reload the page, the permission reappears.

There is slightly different behaviour on a gateway, where I can remove the permission successfully, but I am still able to see the “delete gateway” button.

Overall I feel that denying myself this permission is something I should be able to do as it puts an extra step in deleting an application - after all, I could always give myself the permission again at any time.

Thanks for the report. Permissions will be handled differently in our upcoming v3 stack. I’ll pass it on to the person responsible for that.
