Since lots of people from all over the world will fly to AMS, it’d be fun to visualize all this in a collaborative map (where we come from and where we’re staying in AMS and places to go during the stay, etc)
So @htdvisser prepared a shared map here: https://drive.google.com/open?id=1aoDVULXRRx_39ioe-YSI6EtCdABUsKBp
Hey there,
For PCB fan, I’ve got tons of prototyping and testing PCB I’ll bring to conference:
List is :
Smalls will be given for free, RAK831 concentrator for 2€ and IC880a concentrator for 5€ (assembled and mounted for 20€). Check IMST discount on ic880A boards
See me on RAK831 workshop Thursday 15H30, may be we can get in touch sooner, give me a ping
Excited to see you all
To avoid confusion: There are 3 RAK831 workshops on Thursday only. Charles will be at the conference all days.
Anyone know of the conference is live streaming or recorded, would love to have made it but work commitments
For everyone that arrived to Amsterdam today already :
Join us for a drink near the conference area tonight
Nothing fancy. Just a way to already get in touch with fellow LoRaWAN Experts.
Pacific Parc
Where: Polonceaukade 23
From 8pm onwards
How to find fellow conference members? Just look around and find the people that are talking about geeky stuff!
What? no tracker TTN Mapper on everyone? Such a shame
we wear tilt activated LoRaWAN wristbands so you can see live how many drinks you had
Wouldn’t such rapid transmission violate the fair access policy?
Have a great time you lucky people
Please post how it goes
6:42 enroute
The Things Conference day 1 - 500 people from 40 countries !
What a day… what a warm bath, what a vibe !
A balanced mix between very interesting speakers and handson workshops.
Perfectly organized by the TTN team and with help from many volunteers.
thank you all for this great conference !
these are some pictures from different sources.
Very nice pictures! A good overview.
I hope to have the opportunity to meet you tomorrow
sorry I’ve missed you somehow, I visited the conference only today
* update … according to Arjan we shook hands this morning
There was also an interesting workshop about wifi localisation with TTN.
With a Wemos controllor board and a RFM95 lora module we succeeded in visualising with NodeRed our GPS location on the Google maps (hotel WestCord at 500m from the Rigakade10).
Many thanks Frank Beks for the tutorial and code !
