I hope you are all doing great. I just wanted to give you a heads up about relevant activities that are happening in Bergen this week:

Measure Your City Hack Night
The Measure Your Own City Project, where participants get to build a weather station, is hosting an open house session tonight. If you have already created a station, and need help with getting it up and running, be sure to bring it tonight. There will be people readily available to help you out. There will also be a few exciting talks about data reliability and visualization. Location: Marineholmen Makerspace, tonight (Tuesday) from 17:00 to 21:00.

Media City Future Week
Tuesday to Friday will be all about the future at Media City Bergen. Best of all: Most sessions are free. Of particular relevance is the citizen science/weather track, which will feature speakers Diana Wildschut and Scott Bremer from the Meetjestad project, together with Ingrid Støver Jensen From Yr, Joachim Reuder from the University and Ronald Toppe from Scary Weather. Location: Media City Bergen, tomorrow (Wednesday) from 15:30 to 16:30. Read more here: https://www.facebook.com/events/441677363274221/

There will also be a weather station building workshop at 16:00, but this unfortunately fully booked already. If you are eager to get in, you can send me an email to join the waiting list.
